Galectin 3 Monoclonal Antibody
Galectin 3 is a 26 kDa protein encoded by the LGALS3 gene. It is one of a family of closely related proteins. Gal-3 is potentially a useful biomarker for heart failure, with current immunodiagnostic kits on the market.¹ It may also have potential as a biomarker for a variety of cancer types.²
