Beta-2-Microglobulin (B2M)

Beta 2 Microglobulin is a protein of 12kDa and pI of 5.6. B2M levels can rise either because its rate of synthesis has increased (e.g. in AIDS, malignant monoclonal plasma cell dyspraxia, solid tumours and autoimmune disease) or because of impaired renal filtration (e.g. due to renal insufficiency, graft rejection or nephrotoxicity induced by post-transplantation immunosuppressive therapy).

Why should you choose BBI's ß2M antigen:

+ Supplied from ethically sourced, screened donor urine
+ Lyophilised for a 5 year shelf-life
+ Low levels of cross contaminants - high purity >98%
+ Tested on multiple platforms showing excellent recovery
+ Our production facilities allow us to offer large batch sizes ranging from 100ug to gram quantities
